i certainly remember the feel of winter in my nose - when everything froze in there!! i like winter memories - in the summer ;)

I was thinking of the faintly metallic smell that hung from others coming in from a snowfall. Now I wonder if it wasn't the ozone generated by falling snow. I'll have to check the physics of this; it was definitely an ozonous (?) smell, one I have encountered working around heavy electric switchgear - in my later years!
