The Road

I enjoyed reading Cormac McCarthy's earlier work All the Pretty Horses and The Crossing so was looking forward to the Coen brother's film No Country for Old Men - a tense film right on the edge of my comfort level.

I'd thought of reading the book then decided to read his latest - the Pulitzer Prize winning The Road - a story more personal, bleak and hopeful. Truly powerful universal message. Highly recommended.
